Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LaneOS website (laneos.ai), web console, mobile applications, and related services (together, the "Services"), operated by Highstone Technologies ("LaneOS", "we", "us", or "our"), headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to that organization.

1. The Services

LaneOS is a fleet management platform that provides vehicle tracking, driver management, alerts and notifications (including via WhatsApp), reporting, and related tools for fleet operators. We may add, change, or remove features from time to time.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Services.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate, complete registration information and keep it up to date.
• Notify us immediately at info@laneos.ai if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Subscriptions and Payment

• Certain features of the Services require a paid subscription. Pricing and plan details are presented at the time of purchase.
• Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, per your plan) and are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We may change our fees with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Services after a fee change constitutes acceptance of the new fees.
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your access to paid features.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services to violate any applicable law or regulation, or to infringe the rights of others.
• Track any vehicle or person without proper legal authority or consent as required by applicable law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the Services except as permitted by law.
• Resell, sublicense, or provide the Services to third parties except as expressly permitted by your plan.
• Use the Services to send spam or unsolicited messages, including via WhatsApp.

5. Your Data

• You retain all rights to the data you and your organization submit to the Services ("Customer Data").
• You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Services.
• You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of Customer Data, including obtaining any consents required from drivers and other individuals whose data you submit (for example, consent to GPS tracking and to receiving WhatsApp notifications).
• Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. WhatsApp and Third-Party Services

The Services deliver notifications through third-party channels, including the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of WhatsApp is subject to WhatsApp's own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services, including message delivery delays or failures outside our control. Recipients can opt out of WhatsApp notifications at any time by replying STOP.

7. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, designs, logos, and content provided by us, are owned by Highstone Technologies or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Services in accordance with these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. GPS and telematics data depend on third-party hardware, cellular networks, and satellite availability; we do not warrant that location data will always be accurate, complete, or uninterrupted. The Services are not a substitute for safe driving practices, vehicle maintenance, or legal compliance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Highstone Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us for the Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Highstone Technologies and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your Customer Data, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Termination

• You may stop using the Services and cancel your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or if required by law.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases. You may request deletion of your data as described in our Data Deletion Instructions.
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7–10) will survive.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applicable in the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
